Gopi Talao
Gopi Talao which has historic importance for Surat is in the process of being redeveloped into a tourist attraction. The historic lake had long been ignored and most parts were encroached upon by hutments, till the Muncipality took up the issue and is now trying to restore it to its original, if not modfied glory
Nanpura Traffic Island..
Traffic Island near Sneh Milan Garden. Laughing Buddha was put up by the members of Laughter Club which has its sessions in the adjoining Garden.

Rupali Theater in Rander
Rupali Theatre, the only one on Rander side after the riverside Shital Cinema. Rupali closed down and is being converted into most likely a Shopping Mall.

Most Surti's would recognise this as the Clock Tower in Rander...
A view of the famous mosque near the Rander Clock Tower. The adjacent areas are known for 2 things, Kites during Utran, and the mouthwatering Non-Veg Parathas available during Ramzan.
Floriculture in Surat..
Not many Surti's know Surat is home to quite a few floriculture centres like these providing thousands of flowers daily for exports. This one is on the Surat-Olpad Highway.
