Before you wonder how the Eiffel Tower got to Surat... this is the Traffic Island at what we Surtis know as Parle Point. Long ago, Parle Bottling Co had its plant here, hence the name. The plant is long gone, but the name has stuck and its now a glitzy shopping area..

I haven't been to Surat for about a decade. Surat sure looks completely different.Would love to see photos of St.Xaviers and Lourdes Convent.
